The cement industry is expected to revive with an increase in construction activity due to Red Sea Development Company, Amala and other development projects in Saudi Arabia such as Neom and Al Qadiya.
Since the kingdom lifted the five-year ban in 2016, the number of cement export licenses has reached 112.
According to Aragham, the cement market in Saudi Arabia is concentrated on 17 market players.
According to Abdul Latif Saleh Al-Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia's Al-Ammar Group, the country's cement companies are currently operating at around 60 percent of their total capacity.
"This leaves room for growth as companies reach full productivity," he said.
