Oppression by Modi government, Kashmiri students deprived of watching Pakistan-India match

Srinagar: Occupying India has set a new example of state terrorism by depriving Kashmiri students of watching the India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Modi government, through Indian police and intelligence agencies, prevented Kashmiri students from watching the Asia Cup T20 match played between Pakistan and India.

In the order issued to the educational institutions of Occupied Kashmir and various cities of India, it was said that the management and heads of the educational institutions should ensure that Kashmiri students cannot watch the match and are confined to their rooms.

The Modi government also ordered not to allow Kashmiri students to gather in groups and to monitor their social media posts and impose a fine of INR 5,000 on Kashmiri students watching group matches. India arrested several Kashmiri students in October 2021 for praising the Pakistan cricket team on social media.
