 Mumbai: Well-known Indian television actress and leader of the political party BJP Sonali Phogat passed away due to a heart attack.

According to Indian media reports, Sonali was in the Indian city of Goa where she suffered a heart attack on Monday night.

The actress' staff said that Sonali was feeling restless for a long time after which she was taken to the hospital where she died.

The body of the 42-year-old actress has been sent for post-mortem, after which the cause of death will be revealed, but doctors say that the actress died of a heart attack.
