KARACHI: Sindh's renowned award-winning poet, writer and translator Immad Hussaini passed away at the age of 82.
Imdad Hussaini was considered to be one of the major poets of the modern Sindhi language, while he was also a dramatist and a novelist.

Imdad Hussaini remained active till the last days of his life, he also participated in the 14th Urdu Conference in December 2021.
Two weeks ago, he was taken to the hospital in a critical condition and has been under treatment in the hospital ever since.
Imdad Hussaini's son actor, dancer and choreographer Wajdan Shah said in his Instagram story that his father has passed away.
Wijdan Shah also appealed to his fans to pray for his father's forgiveness.
After the death of Imdad Hussaini, personalities related to literature and show business have expressed deep sorrow and termed his death as a great loss for Sindhi literature.
