Seoul, South Korea: Samsung unveiled its new products at a grand event, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4, as well as two new smartwatches.
As far as the price is concerned, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is priced at $1,800 and the Flip Four is priced at $1,000. They feature the Snapdragon 8 Place Generation One chipset and other innovations. However, the price of the Watch 5 has been set at $280 and the price of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro at $450.
Samsung has done a lot of work on both the smartphones, i.e. compared to the Fold 3, the new phone packs the TSMC version of the Snapdragon 8 generation one. This keeps the phone cool and consumes battery efficiently. All foldable phones have 12GB of RAM and the 256GB storage can be expanded up to one terabyte by spending more money.
It has an OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a crease or notch in the middle of the phone where the phone opens and closes. A camera is also placed inside its display. It also has a 120Hz OLED display.
The Fold Four has an excellent camera that takes great pictures, especially in low light thanks to the extra pixel. It also has an improved telephoto camera. It looks like a fold-three.
It has a fingerprint sensor on the sides, and as for the speakers, they emit sound at the top and bottom. The frame of the Fold 3 was quite shiny which has now been replaced by a matte finish aluminum frame. The Fold Four's screen supports the S-Pen for which the screen is optimized.
