In Saudi Arabia, the preparations for increasing the Mecca-Jeddah Haramain train service have been completed.
Akaz newspaper quoted the sources as saying that 32 trains will be run from Jeddah to Makkah (up and down) daily, which will facilitate the passengers.

According to the schedule, the economy class fare from Jeddah to Makkah is 40 riyals while the fare for business class is 70 riyals.
After increasing the number of trains, 32 trains will run daily from Makkah to Jeddah, according to which there will be 16 vehicles from Jeddah to Makkah and 16 vehicles from Makkah to Jeddah.
With the increase in rail service, Umrah pilgrims, Saudi citizens and foreigners residing in the country will also be greatly facilitated.
