42 countries included in the joint network of Qatar Airways and British Airways

 Qatar Airways and British Airways have expanded their networks for customers.

According to Arab News, the two airlines are adding 42 more countries to their joint network.

Under this joint network, both airlines are expanding their network to Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania (Pacific Islands) besides Italy, Norway, Singapore, Sweden and Maldives.

"This is a huge milestone in our long-standing relationship with Qatar Airways," British Airways CEO Sian Doyle said.

Together, the two airlines will serve 185 destinations in more than 60 countries.

Customers of Qatar Airways and British Airways will have options for prices, schedules and direct and connecting flights from London and Doha, according to a statement.

According to both airlines, this is part of the plan to 'go further together' to improve the shared network and provide the best amenities to passengers.

"Passengers will now be able to experience services through our combined network," said Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Bakr.
