Declaration of public holiday on 12 Rabi Al-Awwal in UAE

 The Ministry of Manpower and Emiratization in the United Arab Emirates has announced a public holiday on Saturday, October 8 (12 Rabi Al-Awwal) on the birthday of the Prophet of Islam.

All employees of Emirati institutions and private sector companies will be granted leave with pay.

According to Emirates Today, the Minister of Manpower and Emiratization, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Awar, made this announcement in accordance with the decision of the Emirati Cabinet which he made regarding the holidays of public and private sector workers for 2021 and 2022.

The Ministry of Manpower has also congratulated the President of the Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the members of the Supreme Council of the Federation, the Emirati people and the resident foreigners on this occasion.
