The leaders of Western countries have expressed their outrage over the discovery of a mass grave in the city of Uzum, which was vacated by Russia in Ukraine.
According to the news agency AFP, the authorities in Ukraine said that during the recent war, a mass grave was discovered in the Russian-held city of Azyum, in which all the bodies have signs of torture.

In a statement, he said that this inhuman treatment of Russian forces in complete violation of international humanitarian law and Geneva Conventions should be stopped immediately.
U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said the graves may provide more evidence that Russia is committing war crimes in its pro-Western neighbor.
French President Emmanuel Macron, reacting to the discovery of a mass grave in Ukraine, said that what happened in Azeum was atrocity.
He tweeted that 'I condemn in the strongest terms the atrocities in the city of Izym in Ukraine under the Russian occupation.'
He added that those responsible "will have to answer for their actions." Peace is not possible without justice.
Officials said 450 hastily dug graves, some with wooden crosses carved into the pine forest, were found in the city of Azyum when Ukrainian forces liberated it from Russia.
"99 percent of the bodies exhumed today showed signs of violent death," Oleg Senigubov, head of the Kharkiv regional administration, wrote on social media.
