The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has received a warm official and public welcome on his arrival in Muscat for an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

Hundreds of horsemen and guards of the Sultan's troop were present to welcome him at the main gate of Alam Al-Amer Palace.
Omani citizens were standing on both sides of the road waving the flags of the two countries and shouting welcome slogans on the arrival of the Emirati guest.
A 21-gun security was given to the Emirati president. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed inspected the Guard of Honour. Later met members of Sultani family and high officials who came to welcome.
