On the instructions of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, the distribution of more than 23,000 'Esaaad Cards' has been started to the senior citizens of the state, retired persons, disabled persons and those with limited income.

According to the UAE's official news agency WAM, Essaad cards are being issued in Dubai for senior citizens, retirees, the disabled and people with limited income to improve the quality of life of citizens.
Asad cards will strengthen the social status of people belonging to certain categories. Dubai Police, Dubai Social Welfare Institution, Social Security and Pension Fund for Military Personnel, Abu Dhabi Pension Fund and Dubai Expatriate Affairs Authority are providing Asaad cards.
General Abdullah Al Marri, Commander of Dubai Police, said that the Essaad cards have been issued to meet the needs of senior citizens, retirees, the disabled and those with limited income and to provide stability to their families.
The leadership of the emirate wants the quality of life of the people to be better and their needs to be continuously taken care of.
