Five projects of 3300 MW of renewable energy in Saudi Arabia

 Tenders have been issued for five projects of 3300 megawatts of renewable energy in Saudi Arabia.

According to the Saudi news agency SPA, the new projects presented by the Saudi company for the production of electricity through renewable energy are related to the fourth phase of the national renewable energy program under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy.

Out of the five projects, three projects will be wind powered and two projects will be powered by solar power.

Wind projects will generate 1800 megawatts of electricity. One of these projects will be established in Yanbu, which is expected to generate 700 megawatts of electricity. Another project in Al-Ghat will generate 600 megawatts of electricity, while the Waad al-Shamal project will generate 500 megawatts of electricity.

The two solar power projects will generate a total of 1500 megawatts of electricity. One of these projects will be built in Al-Hanaqiya with an output of 1100 megawatts, while the other project will be completed in Tabarjal, which is expected to generate 400 megawatts of electricity.
