India: Son sets mother on fire for not paying for alcohol

 In the Indian state of Kerala, a brutal son set his mother on fire for not paying for alcohol.

According to the Indian media, it has been told by the police that the 75-year-old mother was set on fire by her son, as soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and immediately transferred the weak woman to the hospital for medical assistance.

According to the hospital administration, the victim's body has been burnt up to 70% due to which her chances of survival are very low.

The police took action and arrested the son of the victim, Manoj, while media reports said that Manoj had set fire to his mother by pouring kerosene on her for not paying for alcohol.
