Hollywood star Tom Hardy is known worldwide for action movies like Venom and Mad Max: Fury Road, but he is no less in the real world.
Recently he surprised fans by winning a martial arts championship.
45-year-old Tom Hardy made a surprise appearance at the Brazilian Joe Jesto Open Championship in Great Britain and won the blue belt.
The match took place on September 17 and now on Instagram, Tom Hardy explained the reason for participating in this championship.
"It's an honor for me to represent a charity that is working to help people get away from drug addiction and improve mental health," he said.
The Hollywood star said that Joe Jesto helped her become stronger from within.
"Simple training as a hobby brings inner strength and peace, I can't tell you how much it has affected my life," he said.
The actor entered the competition under his real name Edward Hardy.
Tom Hardy has suffered from various problems due to drug use in the past.
Earlier Tom Hardy also won 2 medals in a Joe Gesto competition in August 2022.
