The Saudi General Entertainment Authority has announced the first-of-its-kind Outlet 2022 Shopping Festival in the Kingdom.
According to Arab News, the two-week outdoor festival that begins on Saturday will offer exclusive discounts of up to 70 percent on fashion, home accessories and cosmetic products designed by international experts.
Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, said on his Twitter account that this program in Riyadh is an important initiative.
According to him, this festival will be held in Al-Rehab neighborhood in the west of Riyadh, the Saudi capital. It will include food and beverage outlets and events for children.
Farah Ahmad told Arab News that she is witnessing the construction of the outlet. It is impressive how quickly the Saudi General Entertainment Authority has built a space. They are working day and night to fulfill it.
"I'm very excited about the festival, especially (since) I'm not able to travel or shop this summer, but I still feel like two weeks isn't enough," she added. I hope that the Saudi General Entertainment Authority will expand it further.
Entry to the festival is free, and will feature more than three million discounted items from 1,500 international brands.
The festival will continue from 3 pm to 1 am daily. Its tickets can be booked through the TicketMX app and website. VIP and VVIP tickets can be booked through the Parky app and website.
