Saudi Arabia's new Minister of Defense and Education took oath

 In the presence of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prince Khalid bin Salman was sworn in as Minister of Defense and Youssef bin Abdullah Al Banyan as Minister of Education on Tuesday.

 
According to the Saudi news agency SPA, King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a royal decree appointing Prince Khalid bin Salman as Minister of Defense and Youssef Al-Banyan as Minister of Education.

The swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers has been held in Qasr al-Salam, Jeddah.

Taking an oath, the new ministers pledged that they will remain loyal to their religion, their king and their dear country and will not reveal any state secrets.

"Shall protect the state interests and laws and perform their duties with truth, honesty and sincerity".
