Turkey has complained of provocative actions by Greece in recent months along the Aegean Sea border, saying such actions undermine peace efforts.
According to AFP news agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned Greece in an address to a rally in the Black Sea region that Greece should look at history, if it tries to move forward, it will have to pay a heavy price.
The Turkish president had earlier warned Greece that it would pay a "heavy price" if it continued to cause problems for Turkish aircraft in the skies over the Aegean Sea.

Turkey says Greece is trying to build up its military presence on the Aegean islands, a violation of peace agreements signed after World War I and World War II.
In his address on Saturday, Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Greece of "occupying" the islands.
Greece has accused Ankara of trespassing on Greek-controlled islands.
Turkish President Erdogan has also made a historical reference to the end of Greek occupation in 1922 after Turkish forces entered the city on the Aegean coast. Recep Erdogan has said that Greece's occupation of the islands does not bind us.
The Turkish president has said in the speech that when the time comes, we will do what is necessary. As we say, we may come suddenly one night, he said, using his oft-repeated words.
It should be noted that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in June that if Greece continues to send troops to these islands, Ankara will challenge Greece's sovereignty over these islands.
