US Will Defend Taiwan If China Attacks, President Joe Biden

 Washington: US President Joe Biden has said that the US will defend Taiwan in case of an attack by China.

US President Joe Biden said in an interview that if China attacks Taiwan, US forces will defend Taiwan. There has been no change in US policy towards Taiwan.

The US President further said that there is a one China policy but Taiwan has made its own decision regarding its independence. We are not encouraging Taiwan. The decision for independence is Taiwan's own.

This is the third time this year that the US President has made a statement in favor of Taiwan against China. China considers Taiwan part of its territory and has warned of the consequences of US interference in the matter.
