Media and entertainment giant Warner Brothers Discovery and SRMG, the largest media group in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), have announced the launch of an Arabic language channel, Al-Sharq Discovery.
According to Arab News, this channel is for viewers in the Middle East and North Africa.
Asharq Discovery is the latest addition to SRMG.

The partnership aims to support Warner Bros. Discovery's strategic expansion into the MENA region and SRMG's expansion strategy.
The joint objective of the two organizations is to create diverse content and improve its accessibility, as well as help MENA's entertainment industry grow into a bigger industry.
CEE Middle East and Turkey GM Jamie Cook says, “MENA's entertainment industry is undergoing incredible change. It has a lot of potential.
"It is providing opportunities to content players and consumers," he said.
"Our new strategic partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery will further strengthen our capabilities through dynamic and compelling Arabic content," said Jamana Al-Rashid, CEO of SRMG.
"We look forward to working together and providing quality content along with new job opportunities," he said.
