Al Dariya Season: Second edition begins from October 20, cultural and recreational activities

 Organizers of the Al Dariya season in Saudi Arabia say that the second edition will start from October 20, which will host sports, cultural and entertainment events.

According to Arab News, this year's season will end on February 22. It is expected to boost the kingdom's tourism industry, attracting large numbers of local and international tourists and creating thousands of jobs for young Saudis.

Al-Duriya Season Committee Chairman Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of the 2022 Al-Duriya Season, which features a rich ancient historical heritage and geography.He said that after the success of the 2019 event, which included the Formula E race and the World Heavyweight Boxing Championship, the government has once again planned to organize such an event.

"I invite all fans from inside and outside the kingdom to participate and enjoy this season," said Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal.

Al-Duriya Gate Development Authority Chief Executive Jerry Anzello said Al-Duriya is an ideal location for hosting regional and international events.

Over 3 million visitors from 63 countries attended the last season of Al-Duriya.

"We are excited to see a large number of visitors from all over the world in the new season," he said. We look forward to satisfying visitors for sports and entertainment experiences.”

It should be noted that the last season of Al Dariya lasted for a month with 196 national and international players, four global sports events and 16 top live music performers.

Over 3 million visitors from 63 countries participated in the last season of Al Dariya and resulted in the creation of 15,000 jobs for Saudi youth.
