Violation of laws, confiscation of licenses of 7 recruiting agencies

The Saudi Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare has said that the licenses of seven recruiting agencies and companies have been confiscated for violating laws and regulations.

According to the Urgal website, the ministry has suspended 8 agencies for violating labor laws and regulations during August and September of this year until the complaints are resolved.

The Ministry of Manpower says that a special campaign is being conducted to protect the rights of investors. These steps have been taken after continuous monitoring of the recruiting sector.

According to the Ministry, the 'Musand' platform is performing duties to develop the recruiting sector on modern lines, improve the quality of facilities, resolve differences between the concerned parties and resolve grievances.

The ministry said that 'in order to eliminate violations in the recruiting sector, it is important that the person who comes to know of any violation should report it.'
