Corona variant 'XBB' has not taken a dangerous form in Saudi Arabia: Minister of Health

 Saudi Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajal has said that 'till now, there is no evidence on record of the variant of corona virus 'XBB' taking a dangerous form in Saudi Arabia.

According to Akaz newspaper, Fahad Al-Jalajal said that the Ministry of Health is keeping a close eye on the new forms of Covid-19. The situation of 'XBB' is also being closely monitored across the country.

The health minister said that 'so far no such sign has been observed or recorded which can be said that the new variant of Corona 'XBB' has taken a destructive and dangerous form. So far the state is safe from this situation.

He said that those who have not yet taken Bosterdose should arrange it at the first opportunity. It is an effective means of protection against corona virus and its new forms.

He further said that the Public Health Authority (Qayah) and the Ministry of Health are issuing updated information and instructions regarding the corona virus. Be aware of them and follow safety measures.
