California: Oscar and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Sherman Obaid Chinoy is rumored to be directing her first science fiction Hollywood film soon.
Sherman Obaid Chinoy also directed the first mega budget Hollywood American science fiction web series 'Miss Marvel'.
The report said that the story of 'Brilliance' is based on Marcus Seki's novel of the same name, which will be written by Akiva Goldsman, who will also co-produce the film.
The report claims that the said film will be produced by several people including Will Smith and will be released under the banner of Paramount Pictures.
The report quoted sources as saying that Sherman Obaid Chinoy is currently in talks with various companies producing the said film and the matters will likely be settled in the next few weeks.
