The players hit the ground running on the final day of Comic Con Arabia

 The three-day Comic Con Arabia 2022 festival at the Jeddah International Convention Center came to an end on Saturday after reaching full steam.

According to Arab News, the participants in the competitions and cosplays at the festival showed their skills in new skills and styles by wearing different clothes and special makeup on their faces.

The cosplay competitions were divided into three sections, in which a prize money of 10,000 riyals was reserved for the best performance and the best costume at Comic Con Arabia.

Besides board games, live drawing stands, music program and food stalls were also decorated among the entertainments at the festival.

Ibrahim Al-Saadan, who came from the Eastern Region to participate in the festival, said that he won the competition in the Comic Con Arabia category and received a cash prize of five thousand riyals.

The 25-year-old said, "Since childhood, I have been interested in mastering various cosplay roles.

He won the competition by playing Scorpion, a villainous character from the Mortal Kombat fighting game.

Al-Saadan has said that it took him six weeks to create his outfit and another week to master the poses, so this victory came as no surprise to me.

Al Saadan said that I have previously represented the kingdom in the Japanese International Cosplay Championship in Riyadh and today was my sixth success.

At the festival, Saudi fans have given cosplay a great place with their creativity.

Also among the winners of prizes worth 2500 Riyals for best costumes and outstanding skills were characters from Japanese manga art and games.
