Conservative Party leaders Boris Johnson and Rishi Sonak have met in the UK Prime Ministerial race.
According to the news agency AFP, in this meeting late on Saturday, various issues were discussed with the two leaders.
Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson had been on holiday in the Caribbean but returned to join the race for the new prime minister after Liz Truss resigned.

Boris Johnson's meeting with former finance minister Rishi Sonak was reported by the Sunday Telegraph as the two discussed how to avoid a 'civil war' in the Tory party through a 'joint ticket'.
The two leaders are yet to formally announce that they are in the prime ministerial race following the resignation of Liz Truss.
Liz Truss, who announced her resignation on Thursday, has been prime minister for just 44 days.
This is Boris Johnson's first meeting with Rishi Sonak in the last few months.
Rishi Sonak resigned from the Finance Ministry in Johnson's cabinet after disagreements led to a rebellion against the prime minister and the removal of Boris Johnson from office.
Indian-origin Rishi Sonak met the minimum requirements to contest the party leader election late on Friday.
If the other candidates in the race to become the party leader fail to secure the support of 100 members, Rishi Sonak will become the head of the Conservative Party and the prime minister.
