Use of drones to monitor chemical and nuclear accidents

 The spokesman of the Saudi Department of Civil Defense, Colonel Muhammad Al-Hammadi, has said that drones will be used to monitor nuclear and chemical activities in the kingdom and deal with problems arising in this regard.

Thanks to this, the details of the situation will be known in record time and monitoring of chemical accidents will be possible in an ideal manner.

Speaking to Akhbar 24, Al Hammadi said that the plan to use drones is more advanced in dealing with emergency situations and crises.

Al Hammadi said that drones will detect chemical and nuclear contamination and inform the operation room about the situation in record time. After examining the facts on the drones report and in the same context appropriate strategy will be taken.

It should be noted that the Saudi Department of Civil Defense has demonstrated the use of drones at the stall of the Ministry of Interior at the GETEX Technology Exhibition 2022. The department demonstrated this in the context of technology solutions to problems.
