Donald Trump's Twitter account has been reinstated by Elon Musk

 Washington: Elon Musk, the new owner of the micro-blogging site Twitter, has restored the account of US President Donald Trump.

According to a foreign news agency report, Elon Musk had organized a poll to restore the account of the former US president, in which people were asked for their opinion.

Over 1.5 million of Twitter's 23.7 million users voted in the poll, with 51.8 percent voting in favor of restoring the account, while 48.2 percent of users voted against.

When Twitter blocked the former US president's account, he had more than 88 million followers.

Earlier, Donald Trump once again expressed his determination to participate in the presidential elections, after which the account was restored a few days later.

It should be noted that former President Donald Trump's Twitter account was suspended early last year after his supporters attacked Capitol Hill.
