Mumbai Police has increased the security of superstar Salman Khan

 Mumbai: The security of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been increased by the police.

According to Indian media reports, Salman Khan's security has been increased once again in view of the concerns about receiving a threatening letter.

According to reports, Salman Khan was provided police protection by the Mumbai Police, but now the actor will be given Y+ security cover, which means he will be accompanied by four armed security personnel at all times.

It may be recalled that Salman and his father Salim Khan had received a threatening letter from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in June last year, in which Salman and Salim were threatened to be treated like 'Mosewala'.

The Mumbai Police had arrested several goons from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, who had also confessed to murdering Salman Khan twice but were unsuccessful.

Sidhu Musewala was a Punjabi singer who was murdered in Punjab earlier this year. The Mumbai police had arrested several goons from Lawrence Bishnoi's gang involved in Sidhu's murder, many of whom had confessed to targeting Salman.

Apart from this, two famous Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher are now being provided security by the Mumbai Police.
