 The Saudi Ministry of Tourism has said that since online tourist visas were first launched in September 2019, more than 1 million online tourist visas have been issued.

According to newspaper 24, the engineer in charge of the tourist visa service, Ibrahim Al-Saheem, while providing information in this regard during the Digital Government Forum, said that the special thing about the tourist visa is that it is issued with medical insurance in less than five minutes. Is.'

The Ministry of Tourism's joint platform was released on Wednesday. It will connect the tourism sector with tourism service providers and investors. Thanks to this, digital services and tourism facilities can be availed.

Tourism Minister said that more than ten government institutions have been integrated with each other. Thanks to this, these institutions will be able to provide more than 50 digital services. These include a credible map introducing tourism investment opportunities and the issuance of expedited permits.

Minister of Local Government and Rural and Settlement Affairs, Majid Al-Haqeel, said in his address to the forum that his ministry is receiving applications from 80,000 to 90,000 Saudi families who are candidates to benefit from residential facilities.

Justice Minister Walid Al-Samaani said that seven years ago, only 15 percent of court services could be obtained online, but now more than 90 percent of the services of the Ministry of Justice are being offered online.

Minister of Communications and Logistics Services Saleh Al Jasir said that his ministry is preparing a complete track to digitize all its services.

Al Jasir pointed out that the taxi service was provided in the past only in eight major cities of the kingdom, but now thanks to digital technology, its facility has been provided in more than a hundred cities and towns of the kingdom.
