What are the requirements for Virtual Working Iqama Visa in UAE?

 The Federal Agency for Nationality, Customs and Ports Security in the United Arab Emirates has said that two conditions have been set for the issuance of a virtual working Iqama visa. This visa is for one year and can be extended.

According to Emirates News Agency, the federal agency said in a statement that a candidate for a virtual Iqama visa must present proof of employment in an organization abroad. It also has to prove that the required work can be done online. A monthly income of at least $3,500 is required.

The federal agency says that the candidate must also provide his color photograph, copy of passport and character certificate for the visa which is certified by the candidate's country.

The federal agency added that 'mandatory and optional documents may differ with respect to the information entered in the application.'

Candidates for Virtual Working Iqama Visa can refer to Emirates Smart Service System. It can be accessed through digital identification. Actions can also be taken by username.

 After starting, one has to search for the desired service and fill the application form and finally submit the service fee. The visa service fee is 100 dirhams and the visa issuance fee is 100 dirhams.

In addition, the fee for federal institutions and electronic services is 50 dirhams. Fees may vary depending on the information entered in the application.

It should be noted that the UAE government has recently introduced the facility of Virtual Working Iqama Permit.
