A prominent Iranian actress has shared a picture of herself on social media on Wednesday in which she is seen without a scarf.
According to Arab News, this move by actress Tarana Alidousti has come out as a form of resistance several weeks after Mehsa Amini's death in police custody.
The wave of protests that erupted after this incident has shaken the entire country.
Mehsa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish woman, died in police custody in mid-September.

A few days ago, she wrote on Instagram that she will stay in her country at any cost.
They said they have stopped working and will help the families whose relatives were killed or arrested during the protests.
The 38-year-old actress had said that she has no intention of leaving the country. He also denied having a foreign passport or residence permit.
"I will stay here, I will stand with the families of the prisoners and the families of those killed in the protests and be their voice."
According to her, I will fight for my country. I will pay any price for my rights and most importantly I believe in what we are doing together.
Tarana Alidosti has been a part of Iranian cinema since her youth, most recently starring in director Saeed Rostai's acclaimed film 'Leilaz Brother' which was also screened at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
She is known as a women's rights and human rights activist in Iran.
