Why chanting slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad', three students in India graduated from college

In the Indian city of Bengaluru, police arrested three college students who chanted 'Pakistan Zindabad', and expelled them from the college.

According to Indian news channel NDTV, a video of the New Horizon College of Engineering students chanting slogans went viral on social media after which the police detained them, but later released them on bail.

Preparations were being made for a festival to be held on November 25-26 at New Horizon College of Engineering when the three students Arian, Dinakar and Riya were seen chanting 'Pakistan Zindabad'.

The police said that these students had shouted slogans in jest. They have been released and asked to cooperate with the investigation.

The students were booked under provisions of incitement and fear-mongering for inciting riots.

The college management called the parents of the students and informed them that they have been expelled from the college.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police later said that a friend of his made the video. The college administration expelled him from the college and applied to us. We arrested him first, but later released him on bail because his act was not intentional.
