The Pakistan Cricket Board has said that Shahid Afridi will represent Quetta Gladiators in the seventh edition of PSL next year and this will be the last tournament of his career.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the PCB said that England's James Vance will also play for Quetta Gladiators in the next PSL.Shahid Afridi and James Vance represented Multan Sultans in the sixth edition of PSL.
In the next PSL, National T20 player Iftikhar Ahmed will also be a part of Quetta Gladiators while Azam Khan will leave Quetta Gladiators and play for Islamabad United.
Shahid Afridi has said that he is excited to be part of the Quetta team.
Quetta Gladiators won the 2019 Pakistan Super League trophy.
"I want to end my last PSL event by winning another trophy," said Shahid Afridi.
The 2017 PSL trophy was won by Peshawar Zalmi's team captained by Shahid Afridi.
On the other hand, cricketer Iftikhar Ahmed has said that it was a difficult decision to leave the team of Islamabad United but considering his future in T20 cricket which is connected with Pakistan team, I think it is a good decision.
