Quetta Gladiators' James Faulkner withdraws from PSL over compensation dispute

LAHORE: Australian cricketer James Faulkner, who represented Quetta Gladiators on payment issue, has resigned from PSL.

On the social networking site, the Australian pacer has taken a stand that I apologize to Pakistan cricket fans for withdrawing from PSL, I will not be able to participate in the next two matches.

"The PCB did not keep its promise to me. I came here for all the PSL matches and wanted to help bring back international cricket in Pakistan, but the PCB did not pay," he said. The treatment meted out to me is not respectful. Having trouble leaving PSL.

He further said that Pakistan has the best young talent and cricket fans are fantastic. I am sure you will all understand my position.
