LAHORE: National cricket team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has taken the honor of taking 200 wickets at the age of 22 against Australia at home.
Left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi took 2 wickets in the lone T20 International against Australia yesterday while the players also celebrated his birthday at the end of the match.
Shaheen Afridi also took the honor of taking more than 200 wickets on his birthday.
Earlier, at the age of 22, former national cricket team head coach and fast bowler Waqar Younis took 249 wickets, Afghan bowler Rashid Khan 245, Thaqleen Mushtaq 241 and Irfan Pathan 203 wickets.
In the list, fast bowler Shaheen Shaheen Shah Afridi is at the fifth position with 201 wickets.
On the other hand, according to the new rankings released by the ICC, in bowling, Shaheen Shah Afridi moved up 8 points to 7th position.
