The tweet added that vehicle number plates bearing the World Cup logo have been issued through a special auction based on the conditions set by FIFA.

Qatari authorities auctioned 50 number plates with the 'FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022' logo in May of this year, among which the most expensive number plate was sold for 18 million Qatari riyals ($494,000).

According to Qatari authorities, five people were also arrested last month for selling clothes with the logo of 'FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022' without prior permission.
