A senior commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards was killed in a shooting incident

 Senior commander of Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Ali Mousavi, was killed.

Ali Mousavi, commander of Sistan-Baluchistan province of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, was shot dead in Zahedan, Iran.

According to Iranian state media reports, Ali Mousavi was shot in the chest by gunmen during an anti-government protest in the city of Zahedan on Friday.

Earlier on Friday, Iranian state media reported that gunmen opened fire at a police station in Zahedan.

Tasnim News affiliated with Revolutionary Guard has confirmed the death of Ali Mousavi.

It should be noted that Mehsa Amini, who was under police custody in Iran, died of a heart attack on September 16. Mehsa Amini, 22, was detained in Tehran for not wearing a headscarf.

Protests have been going on in Iran for 14 days against the death of Mahsa Amini in custody, in which about 76 people have been killed and hundreds of people have been injured.
