Renowned stage actor Tariq Teddy passed away, 'the loss will be felt soon'

 The well-known comedian of Pakistani theater, Tariq Teddi, passed away today in Lahore after a long illness.

A few days ago, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi had announced free treatment for actor Tariq Teddy.

He was suffering from respiratory and liver disorders for a long time.

Tariq Teddy's brother has confirmed his death. Comedian Tariq Teddi was put on ventilator due to health deterioration.

According to Pakistan Kidney and Liver Transplant Hospital, Tariq Teddi was suffering from liver disease.

The hospital said 70 percent of his liver had stopped working.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb while expressing condolences on his death said that he played wonderful roles in stage plays and Punjabi films.

He said that Tariq Teddy spread smiles on people's faces with humor and art.
