The largest defense budget in the history of the United States was approved

Washington: The US Senate has sent its summary to President Biden, making the largest defense budget of 858 billion dollars in history.

According to the report of the American news agency, the US Senate has approved the largest defense budget in US history of 858 billion dollars, which is 45 billion dollars more than the amount of the defense budget proposed by President Biden.

US media reports that the mandatory Covid vaccine mandate for the military has also been canceled in this budget. 83 members of Parliament voted in support of this bill, while 11 members voted against it.

After being approved by the US House of Representatives and now the Senate last week, the bill should be presented to the White House where President Biden will sign the bill.

The bill approves $858 billion in military spending for fiscal year 2023, including a 4.6 percent increase in military pay, and money for the purchase of weapons, ships and warplanes, while China and Russia Financial assistance to Taiwan and Ukraine has also been included in the face of threats.

It should be remembered that for the defense policies of the United States, the defense budget must be passed on an annual basis. The US Congress has passed this bill every year since 1961, which becomes law after the signature of the President.

It should be noted that under this bill, additional security assistance of at least 800 million dollars will be provided to Ukraine in 2023, while billions of dollars of security assistance will also be provided to Taiwan to strengthen Taiwan against China.
